Rent-a-Romper’s Top Tips for Having Halloween, Handled.
Hand over your Halloween planning and prepping this year for a stress-free Halloween!
If you’re anything like us, Halloween seems to creep up earlier and earlier each year. We’ve definitely found ourselves picking through the costume remains at Target on the day before (or, gasp!) even the day of Halloween hoping to find something school (and weather) appropriate that our kids will love. That’s why at Rent-a-Romper, we decided to launch Halloween costume rentals! And, since no holiday is complete without decorations and super engaging activities, we teamed up with our friends at Year Cheer to bring you this handy guide to ensure your Halloween is handled well in advance. And the best part? You don’t have to do a thing.
Rent your costumes
It’s not always easy to find the costume you want, and when you do, it’s often pricey. Save time and money when you rent your Halloween costume from us this year! And, as an added bonus, by renting, you’ll be making a more sustainable choice which is great for the environment too. Typically, costumes are only worn once, but renting helps keep them in circulation for years to come.
Halloween costumes are currently available on our website. Here’s how it works:
- Place an order: Place your order by October 15th and have your costume in hand by October 25th. Need it earlier? We’ve got you covered. When you’re done, send your costumes back in the pre-paid shipping container they arrived in. It’s really that easy!
- Be prepared for multiple events: Have multiple Halloween events to attend? More than one kid? Need a kid-favorite costume for school and another one for Halloween family photos? Rent as many costumes as you need and we’ll ship them straight to your door.
- Send us a request: Not seeing the costume or size you want on our site? Send us a note and we’ll go shopping.
Buy a curated box of decor & activities
Decorating your house and putting together kid-approved activities for every holiday isn’t a small task. As a company that’s all about making parenting a little easier, we LOVE fellow mom-owned company, YearCheer! They make holidays easy with their curated kits containing a delightful combination of decor, activities, games, and crafts. With YearCheer’s help, you can focus on having fun with your family instead of planning and shopping for supplies.
Dying to know what’s in their Halloween box this year? Here’s a sneak peek!
Get candy delivered
Grocery delivery services are getting more and more popular, and for good reason! Whether it’s Instacart, Shipt, or something else in your area, you can get all of your weekly groceries and your Halloween candy delivered in one trip. Don’t have a delivery service in your area? Call your local grocery store to see if they offer curbside pickup. Order online, drive up to the curb and wait for a store attendant to place everything in your trunk. With babies or toddlers, this service is a lifesaver. No taking little ones in and out of the car seat, and no major meltdowns in the candy aisle!
Hire a TaskRabbit
With costumes, decor and candy covered, you’re already in good shape, but for everything else, there’s TaskRabbit. Don’t have time to hang up your decorations? Want help with post-activity cleanup? Can’t find that very specific wig? Take it to TaskRabbit. For a small one-time or hourly fee, you can get help with almost anything on your Halloween to-do list.
