Do you have baby or children's clothing taking up space in your home?
Add it to Rent-a-Romper’s shared closet and free up your storage space!
We’ll work to extend the life of those clothes as long as possible.
What items can I send to you?
We will accept all baby or children's clothing up to age 8. We are not able to accept hats, socks or underwear at this time. We are currently only able to accept clothing from within the U.S.
How should I package the clothes?
We’re all about minimizing waste, so if you have your own box or shipping package that you want to reuse, that’s great. We’ll send you a printable shipping label. Just let us know on our closet clean out form.
Need a bag? Fill out this form, and we’ll mail you a compostable shipping kit complete with a prepaid shipping label. Just let us know what works best for you.
What will you do with the clothes?
All of the items received will be reviewed for quality and condition. Those that can will be included in our shared closet and live a new life for as long as we can.
How does reusing clothing help the planet?
Extending the life of an item of clothing for 9 months can reduce the carbon, waste and water footprint of that item by 30%. When you donate your unused items to Rent-a-Romper, you help the planet—and the broader parenting community.
Rent-a-Romper's goal is to extend the life of clothing through our shared closet and through local community partnerships. Clothing that cannot be reused, we give to organizations for upcycling in order to divert the waste from landfills.
